From 5 to 11 September 2022, EMU will be the Official Sponsor of the World Padel Tour Sardegna Open, the most important international event of the «latest generation» sport that gains more and more fans every day. EMU, always in support with sporting events promoting outdoor activities, will be present on the playing fields and will also furnish the hospitality area and the players’ village. Ciak will be the official chairs of the judges on the pitch.

EMU is Official Supplier of the thirteenth edition of the FIVB Beach Volley World Championship, one of the most globally followed sports, which involves and attracts many young people. 216 male and female matches are scheduled from 10 to 19 June 2022 in Rome, at the Parco del Foro Italico, the most important hub of the Italian sport. For the occasion, EMU, as always alongside sports activities that promote the outdoor lifestyle, will provide some products of the Shine and Holly collections, which, due to their technical peculiarities, are particularly suited for outdoor exposures.

From 6 to 12 June 2022, the DDN HUB Fuorisalone comes back, taking place in Piazza del Cannone and in the Castello Sforzesco. This edition will show many performances, design and art exhibitions focused on man and environment well-being issues. Outside the Castello Sforzesco, the “Outdoor Vision” exhibition will host many installations of outdoor furniture products, the result of the perfect balance between sustainability and technology. For the occasion, EMU will exhibit the dining armchairs of the new Twins collection, designed by Sebastian Herkner, in the two twin teak and alu-teak versions.

From June 6, the brand new EMU Monomarca opens its doors in the heart of Milan in Corso Monforte 50, in partnership with Interni Design Experience. A project by LCM Marin Design Studio, an inspirational space in which to discover the wide range of EMU outdoor furniture, transversal, sustainable, multi-material, high quality and comfort collections, perfect for any dining, living and relax environment.

At the 60th edition of the Salone del Mobile, EMU presents its novelties for 2023, as a result of new natural and sustainable multi-material experiments.
TWINS is the protagonist of this edition, a collection with a strong identity and the result of the perfect blend between the EMU know-how and the designer SEBASTIAN HERKNER’s skills. It embodies two twin versions: one is totally in 100% FSC teak, while the other one is an interesting material-mix between pure wood and one of the main components of EMU products: the aluminum.
Also as a preview, the new TERRA!!! by LCM MARIN design studio, a generously sized folding armchair, which can move from seaside to land, from indoor to outdoor environments and vice versa.
Finally, CAMALEON, design ANDREUCCI & HOISL, a multifunctional and customizable modular system, with which to create many compositions for living and dining areas.

The 65th edition of the Spoleto Festival dei Due Mondi will take place from 24 June to 10 July 2022. It is about the oldest performing arts, internationally renowned, festival in Italy, which connects Music, Opera, Dance, Theater and Art thanks to the creativity of the best artists and the best companies in Europe. A precious opportunity to to get back dialoguing with the territory, transforming the city into a stage and creating new meeting opportunities. Again this year, EMU confirms its presence as the Official Sponsor of the Internazionali BNL of Italy, the most important Italian female and male tennis tournament, scheduled from 2 to 15 May 2022 at the Foro Italico in Rome. As per a ten-year tradition, EMU will furnish the official competition chairs reserved to line umpires. This year the Shine armchair will be the protagonist on the pitch. Many other EMU collections will furnish the relaxation area, reserved to players, and the hospitality area. EMU is Partner of Homo Faber, the international cultural event dedicated to contemporary high quality craftsmanship, organized by the Michelangelo Foundation, in partnership with the Giorgio Cini Foundation, the Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte Foundation, the Japan Foundation and the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation. 15 exhibitions, 22 curators and designers, 12 living Japanese national treasures, over 400 unique objects, made by over 350 designers and craftsmen, from over 30 countries. As usual, the event will take place on Isola di San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice from 10 April to 1 May 2022. Its purpose is to promote craftsmanship, its link with the world of design, celebrate human talent and contribute to guaranteeing a brighter future for art masters, highlighting the key role of craftsmanship in creating a more sustainable and inclusive future. This edition celebrates the «living treasures» of craftsmanship through 15 exceptional exhibitions that invite visitors to discover the connection between Europe and Japan. Among the scheduled exhibitions we find name like Rinko Kawauchi, Tokugo Uchida, Sebastian Herkner, Michele De Lucchi, Jean Blanchaert with Stefano Boeri Interiors and Robert Wilson, Zanellato/Bortotto studio.
