EMU and Costa Smeralda – The most sensational Italy is on the sea

Telling the Italian Design: this is the concept behind the creation of Costa Smeralda, the new flagship of Costa Crociere, a project in which EMU was involved as one of the leading companies in “Made in Italy furniture”. Costa Smeralda is, in fact, the first ship to be fueled with Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), the cleanest fossil fuel in the world, a responsible innovation which is a value shared with EMU. The entire ship was designed taking inspiration from Italy, a real Tour in the Bel Paese. EMU furnishes with Holly the deck, one of the most delicate and demanding areas for the outdoor sector, the area most exposed to different climatic and atmospheric conditions. An important task for EMU, to which the company responds with a know-how developed over 70 years of manufacturing experience that guarantees the durability of the products and high quality standards.
