EMU at SIGEP – 2018
EMU is taking part in the 39th edition of SIGEP, the most important international exhibition dedicated to artisan ice-cream, pastry, baking and coffee. Leveraging its wealth of experience, acquired over more than 65 years, EMU exports the Italian art of outside living throughout the world. In Contract it finds not only a natural home, but also a constant challenge to renew its offer while staying true to the brand’s style and design.
Thanks to their innovative design, extreme functionality, the mix of materials which is now a distinctive hallmark of the company, and constant technological research and innovation, EMU products stand the test of time both in terms of looks and durability; they are versatile and high quality, and have made the company the most widespread outdoor brand in the world.
For 2018 EMU has many collections to offer. Modern and Nova, by Studio Chiaramonte/Marin and Aldo Ciabatti respectively, boast an unusual and distinctive design. Made in steel, their main strengths are their comfort and functionality; stackability, the availability of many colour options and a style that will add character and originality to any setting are all additional qualities that make these two collections perfect for contract furnishing.
With its generous proportions, the two defining attributes of the Nef collection by Patrick Norguet are that it is comfortable and welcoming. Made in aluminium and polyester rope, it is light and versatile, and furnishes the lounge areas of the Hospitality sector with originality.
Lyze by Florent Coirier is a family of furniture made in aluminium and stainless steel; its lines, outwardly simple yet welcoming, make it extremely contemporary and comfortable, perfect for any contract setting.
The modular system of Dock sofas, designed by Sebastian Herkner, consists of aluminium elements that are easy to assemble and padded cushions covered in water-repellent textiles for outside use. The variety of shapes and sizes makes it possible to create original and constantly new arrangements, which are perfect for the Hospitality sector.
The Terramare collection of furniture by Studio Chiaramonte/Marin is a complete collection for the elegant furnishing of dining and lounge areas, with sofas, armchairs and couches, tables and side tables that are characterised by mixed materials and a very alluring design.
These collections are the product of the continuing collaboration with some of the most influential firms in international design, and also the development of innovative production processes, which are respectful of the environment thanks to the use of 100% recyclable materials and the use of solutions with a low environmental impact.
Product testing conducted according to international protocols and international certifications are guarantees of the products reliability, durability and functionality, qualities that enable EMU to fully meet the many needs of the Contract market. The final quality of the products is also guaranteed by EN 581-1, EN 581-2, EN 581-3 certification for chairs and tables, and FSC for wood elements.
